Makassar (ANTARA News) - Sulawesi Regional Development Cooperation Board (BKPRS) will offer digital information to support tourism on Sulawesi island, according to BKPRS Secretary General Aminuddin Ilmar.

"Launched during the promotion of Sail Tomini and Boalemo Festival 2015, the digital information is expected to support the promotion of tourism in six provinces on Sulawesi island," Aminuddin said here on Saturday.

He noted that the tourism potential across Sulawesi island is large, but has yet to be managed well.

The BKPRS secretary general added that there are at least four marine tourism sites in Sulawesi, including Bunaken marine park in North Sulawesi, Wakatobi marine park in Southeast Sulawesi, Tomini Bay in Central Sulawesi, and Takabonerate in South Sulawesi.

Therefore, he expressed hope that the digital information could provide assistance for tourism, investment, and one stop integrated services.
