Mecca (ANTARA News) - Nineteen Indonesian hajj pilgrims who died in the recent stampede incident in Mina, Saudi Arabia, will be buried in Mecca, an official has stated.

"We have submitted the application for their burial with the Southeast Asia Muassasah through its maktab (office)," head of Mecca working zone for Indonesian Hajj Pilgrims (PPIH) Arsyad Hidayat said here on Sunday morning.

He said the bodies of the dead victims would be buried immediately after process of their identification and administration by the maktab is finished.

Until 01.00 a.m. on Sunday or 05.00 a.m. West Indonesia Time the number of pilgrims that have been confirmed dead was recorded at 19 including five of them whose identifications had just been confirmed namely Nero Sahi Astro from Flight Group SUB 48 (Surabaya) with passport number B1225386, Rochmani Pawiroredjo Karsodikromo from Flight Group SUB 61 (Surabaya) with passport number B1045049, Siti Muanifah Zainudin Sahlan from Flight Group SUB 61 (Surabaya ) with passport number B1469941, Rasno Asyidik Kardan from Flight Group JKS 61 (Jakarta-Bekasi) with passport number B0745304 and

Sri Prabandari Markani from Flight Group SOC 62 (Solo) with passport number B0875692.

"Actually our team has been able to identify them but because the supporting files and data have not yet been found we would not announce them yet," he said.

The supporting data includes hajj bracelet containing name, flight group number, port of embarkation and passport number as well as other documents usually put in the hajj bag of a pilgrim.

"When the incident happened many lost their identity items," Arsyad said.

The 14 dead pilgrims that were identified and confirmed before were as follows:

1. Abdul Halim bin Ali Satina from Flight Group 48, with a passport number A4514455;
2. Eti Kusmiati Idit Supriadi from Flight Group JKS 61, with a passport number B0932959;
3. Nani Unah Ratnani from Flight Group JKS 61, with a passport number B0745299;
4. Mohammad Yuhan Suprianto from Flight Group JKS 61, with passport number A5737138;
5. Koko Koswara Oyong Suwaryo from Flight Group JKS 61, with passport number B0732931;
6. Adryansyah Idris Usman from Flight Group BTH 14, with passport number A3826040;
7. Dede Kurniasih Sulaeman from Flight Group JKS 61, with passport number B0745305;
8. Dadang Barmara Memed from Flight Group JKS 61, with passport number B0214365;
9. Yahman Mistan Meslan from Flight Group UPG 10, with passport number B0693120;
10. Ratna Abdul Gani Muhammad from Flight Group BDJ 1, with passport number A0912791;
11. Susimah Slamet Abdullah from Flight Group SOC 62, with passport number B0874968.
12. Hamid Atwi Tarji Rofia from Flight Group SUB 48, with passport number B1467965;
13. Busyaiyah Syahrel Abdul Gafar from Flight Group BTH 14, with passport number A27084;
14. Abdul Karim Sumarmi Idris from Flight Group SUB 46, with passport number B1023417.

Ninety-nine pilgrims have not yet returned to their groups following the incident in Mina on Thursday, down from the earlier record of 112.

"We keep searching information aboutt them" Arsyad Hidayat said.

President Joko Widodo said on Sunday that he kept monitoring the development of the handling of the Indonesian hajj pilgrims that had become victims in the incident.

"I keep monitoring it through the religious affairs minister who is the leader of the pilgrimage," he said.(*)
