Antalya (ANTARA News) - The G20 admires Indonesia as the worlds largest Muslim country whose people have demonstrated tolerance and have lived in peace and harmony, according to President Joko Widodo, better known as Jokowi.

"They realize the importance of Indonesia as the worlds largest tolerant Muslim country having favorable security conditions," President Jokowi remarked at the IC Santai Antalya Hotel in Turkey on Sunday night.

Jokowi noted that during the G20 meeting, Indonesia encouraged the existence of a modern, moderate, and tolerant Islam.

Speaking in connection with a question posed about his meeting with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jin Ping, President Jokowi said they discussed several matters, including the follow-up of their previous meeting.

"We also discussed about liquidity support from China in the form of an additional US$20 billion," he affirmed.

According to the president, the two sides also strove to boost investments that would facilitate the entry of additional capital into Indonesia.

"Right now, the state must chalk out a clear investment as well as an employment strategy, and all should be well designed," he added.(*)
