Jakarta (ANTARA News) - An earthquake measuring 6.4 on the Richter Scale jotled Talaud Islands, North Sulawesi, on Monday at 11:38 p.m.

The quakes epicenter was located at 3.80 degrees northern latitude, and 126.97 degrees eastern longitude, 58 km southeast of Talaud Islands, and at a depth of 10 km, the Meteorological, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) reported here, Tuesday.

The tremor did not have potential to trigger a tsunami.(*)
