Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The police have arrested two suspected terrorists in Cilacap, Central Java, and Malang, East Java, respectively, according to police spokesman Inspector General Anton Charliyan.

"Two terror suspects were arrested in Cilacap, Central Java, and two others were detained in Malang, East Java. All of them were linked to the terror attacks in Thamrin," Charliyan remarked here on Wednesday.

Earlier, two suspected terrorists had been arrested in Malang, East Java, by the National Polices Detachment 88 Anti-terror Squad.

The arrested terror suspects were 25-year-old S alias DA who originated from Palopo, Makassar, and 43-year-old KW, a resident of Manisrejo Village, Taman Sub-District, Madiun.

The suspects were arrested in the tomb area of Eyang Setuhu in Patokpicis Village, Wajak Sub-District, Malang.

In addition, the Detachment 88 Anti-terror Squad captured the suspected terrorists who were known by the initials PJ alias RB and PKK alias LT in Cilacap, Central Java.

On Saturday (February 20), the police had arrested five suspected terrorists in Malang identified as Achmad Ridho Wijaya, Rudi Hadianto, Badrodin, Romli, and Handoko.

The police believe that the suspects were linked to the Jakarta attack.(*)
