Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) on Thursday summoned three lawmakers as witnesses in graft cases with fellow lawmaker Budi Supriyanto as a suspect.

Budi Supriyanto was charged with accepting bribe from a company PT Windhu Tunggal Utama, the contractor of projects of the Public Works Ministry in Maluku.

"Fathan, Alamuddin Dimyati Rois and Fauzih H Amro are investigated as witnesses in the Budis case, chief of the human relations bureau of KPK Yuyuk Andriati said here on Thursday.

The three lawmakers and Budi Supriyanto are members of Commission V of the Parliament.

They were already summoned earlier for investigations but failed to appear.

KPK already named and arrested four suspects in the case including Abdul Khoir, the director of PT Windhu Tunggal Utama and another Commission V member Damayanti Wisnu Putranti.

KPK also summoned the Parliament secretary general Winantuningtyastiti to be questioned as a witness.

Abdul Khoir has admitted providing 404,000 Singaporean dollar in bribe to win the contract.(*)
