Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Antara) - Viper Challenge today announce their expansion into the Indonesian market space. Taman Budaya at Sentul City, Bogor, Indonesia is set to play host for the next instalment of Asia’s biggest obstacle challenge to take place on the 24th of September 2016.

Viper Challenge is Asia’s first and biggest obstacle challenge event, established in 2013 it is now in its third year and has racked up an impressive track record of staging mega events and catering to almost 150,000 participants from Malaysia, the ASEAN region and from as far as Europe. Viper Challenge’s core values of camaraderie, teamwork and determination set the tone to bring people together to challenge themselves and to explore its offerings.

The idea to bring Viper Challenge out to Indonesia was the brainchild of Sukhdev Singh and Stephen Tjandra, founder of the Sports Hangout Indonesia, who were looking for the right concept and event that would entice locals and give them a chance to experience one of Asia’s best sporting events.

The Viper Challenge Sentul Highlands obstacle course will see participants challenge themselves over a 10KM course filled with up to 15 natural and man made obstacles, the event is challenge based and as long as you cross the finish line, you will be awarded a medal and a T-shirt to cement your bragging rights. One of the events key messages is to “Leave No One Behind”, this reflects that these challenges are designed to foster a sense of community team work and not competition.

Since its inception in 2013, Viper Challenge has been an exciting event, not only for fitness enthusiasts but for everyone. Feedback from participants has shown that this event is treated as a fun day out spent with friends and family, a great team building and bonding tool for organisations and groups, and simply a great way to meet new people in a positive environment.

Participants can either participate as an individual or as a group of any size. Viper Challenge Operations Director, Mr. Simran Latif said, “It is certainly great to see Sports Hangout Indonesia to take the lead and facilitate Viper Challenge’s expansion. We are very proud to be the first one to bring this new and exciting concept to Indonesia which will continuously encourage Indonesians to stay active and keep the sporting and fitness lifestyle industry in Indonesia fresh, new and innovative.”
