Abu Dhabi (ANTARA News) - Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and his entourage had a stopover in Abu Dhabi on Friday on the way back from Sochi, Russia, to Jakarta.

Presidential aircraft RI-1 which the president and his entourage were boarding arrived at the Abu Dhabi International Airport at 10.20 pm local time, after a 4.5-hour flight from Sochis Adler airport.

The Indonesian head of state had a stopover for two hours at Abu Dhabi Airport in the United Arab Emirates, and after refueling, the RI-1 will leave for Jakarta and is estimated to arrive at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport at 10.30 am West Indonesia Standard Time (WIB) on Saturday.

Before leaving Sochi for Jakarta on Friday, President Jokowi held a meeting with two groups of Russian business leaders to discuss possible investment in Indonesia.

Jokowi was accompanied by a number of state officials including Coordinating Minister for Economy Darmin Nasution, Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi, Minister for State Companies Rini Soemarno , Trade Minister Thomas Lembong and chief of the presidential staff Teten Masduki.
