"The training and seminar are participated in by one hundred workers who will open businesses in Indonesia," the Director of GWO, Karen Hsu, said in a press release received by ANTARA here on Tuesday.
She added that the event is also a platform to exchange franchise business model.
According to her, franchise business competition in Taiwan is very tough.
In the last five years, the success of independent entrepreneurs in Taiwan only account for less than 20 percent, while the number of success in franchising is much higher. So, franchise is a top choice for the future entrepreneurs.
In recent years, there are many Taiwan franchising businessmen who want to develop their businesses in Indonesia.
"Today there are many students and Indonesian workers who want to be entrepreneurs after returning home. They want to introduce and sell trending products in Taiwan to Indonesia," Hsu said.
An Indonesian student of National Taiwan Ocean University (NTOU), Bayu Aji, is interested to join in COCO franchise.
"I am attracted to this cafe service system that is polite and fast," he said.
Meanwhile, an Indonesian worker in Taiwan, Linda, said she wants to open a Taiwanese fried chicken franchise named Ji Pai in Indonesia.(*)
