Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Indonesian government is set to auction five series of sharia state bonds (sukuk) worth Rp4 trillion on August 9 to meet part of the financing target in the 2016 state budget.

The five series of sukuk are SPN-S 27012017, PBS009, PBS006, PBS011 and PBS012, the Directorate General of Financing Management at the Finance Ministry said in a press statement released on Thursday.

The sukuk series SPN-S 27012017 due on January 27, 2017 will be issued at a discount yield, with underlying assets in the form of state-owned goods such as land and buildings.

The sukuk series PBS009 due on January 25, 2018 will be issued at a yield of 7.75 percent, with underlying assets including projects and activities funded by the 2016 state budget and state-owned goods.

The sukuk series PBS006 due on September 15, 2020 will be issued at a yield of 8.25 percent, with underlying assets in the form of activities funded by the 2016 state budget and state-owned goods.

The sukuk series PBS009 due on January 25, 2018 will be issued at a yield of 7.75 percent, with underlying assets in the form of projects and activities funded by the 2016 state budget and state-owned goods.

The sukuk series PBS011 due on August 15, 2023 will be issued at a yield of 8.75 percent, while the sukuk series PBS012 due on November 15, 2031 will be issued at a yield of 8.875 percent.(*)
