Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has reportedly caught red- handed four people, which could include a member of the Regional Representative Council (DPD).

"Wait, there will be a press conference," Yuyuk Andriati, spokesperson of the commission, said here, Saturday, in response to the press question on the arrests.

The agency is scheduled to address a press conference at 4pm local time, Saturday.

The four people were caught red-handed in a South Jakarta area in the wee hours of Saturday. The arrest was made in connection with the alleged payment of a bribe for a project implementation in a region.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Committee IV of DPD Ajip Padindang said he was not aware of the arrest of a DPD member (senator), but, if it was true, he considered it a catastrophe.(*)
