Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Again, another three Indonesian hostages were released by Abu Sayyaf terrorist group late on Saturday evening.

According to Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi here on Sunday the three hostages who were released at 23.35 hours were Ferry Arifin, M Mahbur Dahlan, and Edi Suryono.

"Last night they were picked up by a special team and were released at 23.35 hours and they are now in Sulu Point Task Force West Mincom for a health check," she said at a press conference, flanked at by Defense Forces (TNI) Commander General Gatot Nurmantyo, at the ministry of defense office.

The three would later be taken to Samboaga for officially being referred to the government of Indonesia, that will be represented by the Indonesian embassy in Manila.

"We will announce their return soon after the process in Samboaga was done," she said.

The families of the three hostages have been informed by the ministry of foreign affairs about the release of their members.

At present there are still two Indonesian hostages being held hostage namely Robin Peter and M Nasir and the Indonesian government is still continuing efforts for their release.

"We ask for your prayers so that the two could be immediately done successfully," Marsudi said.
