Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The police anti-terror squad, Densus 88, has reportedly arrested a suspected terrorist, identified by his initials as WS alias AS, in Semanan area, West Jakarta.

"True. Please ask for confirmation from the National Police Headquarters," Chief of the Detective Unit of the Kalideres Police Precinct Adjunct Commissioner Khoiri said here Friday.

He was unaware of the details of the arrest, Khoiri said, adding that it was Densus 88 that arrested the suspect.

Densus 88 personnel arrested WS on Friday at around 9.30am, a source said.

The anti-terror squad also arrested WAs wife, identified by her initials as ALF, and later searched their home for evidence.(*)
