Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Hong Kong Open 2016 badminton mixed doubles finals on Sunday (Nov 27) will be an all-Indonesian affair as the countrys duos, Praveen Jordan/Debby Susanto and Tontowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir, beat their rivals, to set up a clash among themselves.

The mixed doubles pairs of Praveen Jordan/Debby Susanto and Tontowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir reached the finals beating their South Korean and host Hong Kong rivals, respectively, Antara learned from the tournaments website on Saturday.

Praveen/Debby defeated South Koreas Choi Solgyu/Chae Yoo Jung 19-21, 21-18, 21-18 in a game that lasted 61 minutes.

Tontowi/Liliyana successfully beat the hosts mixed pair, Tang Chun Man/Tse Ying Suet, 23-21, 21-14 in just 36 minutes.

"We hoped to reach the final round. We will give our best in the final round and will stay optimistic," Dabby said after the match in Kowloon, Hong Kong.

In the meantime, Liliyana, better known as Butet, expressed her happiness that two mixed doubles from the country will meet in the final round.
