Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The All Indonesia Football Association (PSSI) has made available 200 to 500 tickets for Thai supporters in the first leg of the final round of the ASEAN Football Federation Cup 2016 in Cibinong, Bogor on Wednesday.

However, there has not yet been an official request from the Thai embassy, nor the Thai Football Federation, for the tickets for the first leg of the AFF 2016 final round between Thai and Indonesian teams, PSSI secretary general Ade Wellington said here on Saturday.

"We have made available 200 to 500 tickets, and we are still waiting for requests from Thailand," he said.

He added that PSSI would issue a special invitation to the Thai ambassador for the match.

Ade said PSSI would also invite President Joko Widodo to watch the game at Pakansari Stadium, Cibinong, Bogor, West Java. So far, there has been no confirmation from the presidential palace as to whether President Joko Widodo would come, he added.

President Widodo attended the first leg of the semifinal round between the Indonesian team and the Vietnamese at the stadium.

Ade said Pakansari Stadium has been chosen to be the venue for the first leg of the final round, following an evaluation of the semifinal round between Indonesia and Vietnam, which was held there.

"Pakasari is one of the best stadiums. The implementation of the semifinal round was also good. We will improve any shortcomings found in the semifinal round," he noted.

PSSI has set aside 28,000 tickets for fans of the national team, which includes 15,000 sold offline in Jakarta and Bogor, and 13,000 sold online through Kiostix.com starting from 12.00 on Sunday.

The first leg of the final round of the AFF 2016 between Thailand and Indonesia is scheduled at 19.00 in Pakansari Stadium, Cibinong, Bogor.
