He would face the risk for what he had done."
Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has started investigation of a graft case in the the countrys Coast Guard Agency (Bakamla).

On Monday KPK summoned Bakamlas head of Bureau of Planning and Organization Navy Commodore Noefel Hasan for questioning as a witness in the case over the procurement of a Rp402.71 billion monitoring satellite involving a number of suspects .

"Nofel Hasan is questioned in the case of four suspects Eko Susilo Hadi, Hardy Stefanus, Muhammad Adami Oka and Fahmi Darmawansyah," KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah said here on Monday.

Eko Susilo Hadi, a Law Information Deputy and acting main secretary of the agency, was caught red handed last week by KPK accepting a bribe from President Director of PT Melati Technofo Indonesia Fahmi Darmawansyah and two employees of the company Hardy Stefanus and Muhammad Adami Oka .

KPK confiscated the bribe money Rp2 billion as part of Rp15 billion promised by PT Melati Technofo Indonesia (MTI), which was awarded the satellite procurement contract through allegedly rigged tender.

KPK also questioned two other Bakamla civil servants Wakhid Mamun and Trinanda Wicaksono on Monday.

If found guilty Eko would face a jail term of up to 20 years and a fine of up to Rp1 billion.

Fahmi Darmawansyah, Hardy Stefanus and Muhammad Adami are charged as bribers and will face a jail term of up to 5 years each with a fine of not more than Rp250 million.

The main suspect Eko Susilo Hadi is a senior prosecutor from the attorney general office assigned to a deputy post at the Bakamla.

Attorney General HM Prasetyo has said he would not seek to intervene in the case of subordinate , but he advised Eko to offer himself as a justice collaborator.

"He would face the risk for what he had done. But he would do better by not trying to hide anything if there are others involved," Prasetyo has said.

KPK also has said most likely Eko Susilo was not alone involved in the graft case in Bakamla.

"He should help in bringing the case to the open. Be a justice collaborator," Prasetyo said.
