Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Indonesian Police have worked closely with the Communication and Informatics Ministry to expose cases of sexual abuse against children, allegedly committed by certain groups on social media.

"We are working in cooperation with the ministry. We will act instantly in response to any indications of pedophilic crimes," a spokesman of the Indonesian Police Inspector General Boy Rafli Amar stated here, Tuesday.

He also called on netizens to file reports with the police when they found any suspicious activities on social media.
