Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) installed six Indonesians as ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary to friendly countries at the State Palace here on Thursday.

Those inaugurated include Ferry Adamhar as Indonesian ambassador to Greece, Arto Suyodipuro as ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to India and concurrently Bhutan, Rina Soemarno as ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Bangladesh and Nepal, based in Dhaka, and Wieke Adiwoso as Indonesian ambassador to Slovakia.

President Jokowi also inaugurated Radar Pardede as Indonesian ambassador to Tanzania concurrently Rwanda-Burundi and Rusdi Kirana as ambassador of Indonesia to Malaysia.

First Lady Iriana, numerous state institution leaders, political figures, and some cabinet ministers attended the inauguration ceremony.(*)
