Labuan Bajo, E Nusa Tenggara (ANTARA News) - Thomas Lebas of France came out as overall winner in international cycling race Tour de Flores, that finished in Labuhan Bajo, West Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara Province, on Wednesday.

Joining Kinan Cycling Team of Japan, Lebas finished the sixth or final stage stretching 120.2 km long in two hours, 23 minutes and 15 seconds.

He had recorded victory since the four stage with a total time of 19 hours, 38 minutes and 21 second.

"The race is very interesting and the competition is very tight until the last stage," Lebas said after receiving a prize of Rp45 million from Frans Lebu Raya, governor of East Nusa Tenggara.

The French cyclist defeated Arvin Moazamigodarzi from Pishgaman Cycling Team of Iran, with time difference of four minutes and 58 seconds ahead.

In the third place is Marcelo Felipe from 7-Eleven Team of the Philippines, followed by Muhammad Imam Arifin from KFC Cycling Team of Indonesia in the fourth position.

The TdF 2017 covered a total distance of 808 km. Some 20 cycling teams comprising more than 150 cyclists from 11 countries in Europe, America, Asia, and Australia took part in the tour held on July 14-19.
