Bogor, W Java (ANTARA News) - Indonesian President Joko Widodo and his South Korean counterpart, Moon Jae-in, witnessed the signing of three cooperation agreements between the two countries at Bogor State Palace here on Thursday evening.

The first document signed was a memorandum of understanding between the Indonesian Ministry of Industry and the South Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy on industry cooperation.

The second document was a memorandum of understanding between the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation and the South Korean Ministry of Land Affairs, Infrastructure and Transportation in the field of transportation.

The third was a memorandum of understanding in the field of health between the Indonesian Ministry of Health and the South Korean Ministry of Health and Welfare.

Indonesian Health Minister Nila F Moeloek said the cooperation was aimed at increasing investment in medicine production and transfer of technology in health equipment.

"It has actually been done such as by Kimia Farma in the field of producing medicine raw materials and also health equipment. Kalbe Farma has also done it," she said.(*)
