Bogor, W Java (ANTARA News) - Visiting President Moon Jae-in of South Korea visited Bogor Trade Mall (BTM), along with President Joko Widodo, on Thursday evening.

Moon bought a red batik shirt and a blue one for Widodo during the visit.

The two leaders also took an opportunity to enjoy tea at a stall near the shop where he bought batiks.

Moon bought "Kencana Ungu" motive batik from Jakarta and they both took the L size. "It is a printed one and not a hand-made one and so it was cheaper. The price is for the L size is only Rp100 thousand", Mayasari, the shop attendant who served them, stated.

Moon praised the tea as fresh and nice.

"The South Korean president praised the tea as tasting very good," Ika, who served them, noted.

They drank Jasmine tea, which costs Rp7 thousand per glass.

After buying batik and having tea, the two leaders took an opportunity to greet visitors and shook hands with them, who enthusiastically welcomed them.

The two leaders only toured UG floor for around 45 minutes.

Moon Jae-in arrived in Indonesia on Thursday for a state visit.

The Korean president and First Lady Mrs Kim Jung-Sook were driven to the Presidential Palace where Widodo and First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo welcomed them.

The Korean guests arrived at the Bogor presidential palace, West Java, at 15.50 local time, for a state ceremony under heavy rain.

The two leaders then talked briefly at the back veranda of the presidential palace.

A number of cabinet ministers, including Coordinating Minister Darmin Nasution, Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi, and Minister at the State Secretariat Partikno, were also present to welcome the state guests.(*)
