Dino to temporarily take over Andi`s job

Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Yudhoyono`s special aide for foreign affairs, Dino Pati Djalal, will serve as interim presidential spokesman succeeding Andi Mallarangeng who has been named minister for sports and youth affairs.
Speaking to ANTARA News moments before the inauguration of ministers who will fill in President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono`s second United Indonesia Cabinet, Andi said that after he was inaugurated, his tasks as the president`s spokesman would be taken over for the time being by Dino Pati Djalal.
"For the time being, the spokesman`s tasks will be concurrently taken over by Dini until the president names my successor," Andi said.
He said that it would depend on the president when he would name his successor but he predicted that his successor would be named after the president had returned from an ASEAN summit in Hua Hin, Thailand.
President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono installed 34 new ministers of his Second United Indonesia Cabinet for the 2009 - 2014 term of office at the State Palace on Thursday.
Also installed on the occasion were three state officials with ministerial rank. The inauguration ceremony which commenced at 2 pm local time, was also attended by Mrs Ani Yudhoyono and Vice President Boediono and his wife Herawati.
Earlier, at 10 pm on Wednesday, the president, accompanied by Vice President Boediono, Sudi Silalahi and Presidential Spokesman Andi Mallarangeng, announced the lineup of the United Indonesia Cabinet for the next 2009 - 2014 term.(*)Editor: Heru
