Tokyo (ANTARA News/Asia Pulse) - Japan's NTT DoCoMo Inc. (TSE:9437) said Tuesday that its users will be able to send unlimited e-mail messages,including those to subscribers of rival carriers, for 1,095 yen (US$11.94) a month starting December 1.
The company is following the lead of KDDI Corp.'s (TSE:9433) au service and Softbank Mobile Corp., which will launch similar plans at similar prices.
DoCoMo is introducing a new rate plan that costs 780 yen a month. When combined with its i-mode service costing 315 yen a month, users will be able to send as many e-mails as they want, regardless of the size of attached files,which can include photos and videos.
