Kuala Lumpur (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is scheduled to arrive in Kuala Lumpur at noon on Wednesday to start his two-day working visit to Malaysia.

Accompanied by First Lady Ani Yudhoyono, the president and an entourage will stay at Mandarin Hotel next to the Petronas Twin Towers on Ampang Street.

At 4 p.m. local time, a state welcome ceremony to President Yudhoyono by Malaysian government will take place at Parliament building in Kuala Lumpur, and at 5:30 p.m., the Indonesian head of state will make a courtesy call on Malaysian King Yang Dipertuan Agong XIII Mizan Zainal Abidin at Kuala Lumpur State Palace.

After that, Malaysian Prime Minister Dato` Sri Mohammad Najib bin Haji Tun Abdul Razak will make a courtesy call on President Yudhoyono at Mandarin Hotel.

Later on Wednesday evening, the Indonesian head of state will attend a banquet hosted by Prime Minister Razak at his official residence at Putra Jaya.

On Thursday, President Yudhoyono and Prime Minister Razak will hold a bilateral meeting at 9:15 a.m. for about 45 minutes and followed with a joint press conference.

After that the president will attend a business luncheon at 11 a.m. with a number of Malaysian businessmen at the Kuala Lumpur Conference Center (KLCC).

Before leaving Kuala Lumpur at 2 on Thursday afternoon for Singapore, President Yudhoyono will have a meeting with former Malaysian Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

Presidential spokesman Dino Patti Djalal said earlier that while in Singapore, President Yudhoyono will attend the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum (APEC) meeting and also a summit meeting between US President Barrack Obama and the heads of state and government of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean).

He said that in the meetings President Yudhoyono would convey his views on various issues.

"In the APEC summit he would convey his views on balanced growth and also review the targets set at the APEC summit in Bogor in 1996," he said.

Before attending the summits he would meet Singapore`s President SR Nathan and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and also ministerial mentor Lee Kuan Yeuw.

President Yudhoyono is also scheduled to conduct bilateral talks with US President Barrack Obama in Singapore. (*)
