Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Police continued grilling Anggodo on Thursday in connection with his controversial wiretapped conversations with a number of law enforcement officials and six possible charges may be imposed on Anggodo including smearing, insulting, bribery attempt, slender and threatening lives.

"I have been questioned since morning before the rain fell," he said in the company of his lawyer, Bonaran Situmeang, after the questioning at the Crime Intelligence Unit of the National Police Headquarters in South Jakarta ended at around 7.45pm.

He said he had received a lot of questions from police investigators regarding the content and transcript of his wiretapped conversations with the law enforcement officials.

The younger brother of businessman Anggoro Widjojo who was a corruption case suspect said the examination was also of his interest and therefore he hoped all problems could be uncovered thoroughly.

He assured he would not run abroad to avoid the problem and promised he would always be ready to meet summons from the police.

"If I run it means I am betraying," he said.

Anggodo`s lawyer Bonarang Situmeang meanwhile said so far his client still remained as a witness.

He said he did not know when his client would be examined again saying it would all depend upon the police`s decision.

The police have already questioned Anggodo several times since November 3 in connection with his wiretapped conversations suspected aimed at framing antigraft (KPK) commissioners Chandra M Hamzah and Bibit Samad Rianto.

Until now the police have not yet named him a suspect in the case as they still could not as yet find criminal elements and enough proof to do it.

In the recording which had also been heard at the constitutional court the name of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono had been mentioned several times.(*)
