KPK questions former KSSK secretary

Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) on Tuesday questioned Raden Pardede, former secretary of the Committee for Financial System Stability (KSSK).
Pardede was questioned in relation with a document submitted to the KPK by Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati in connection with the Bank Century case.
"I came to KPK office to follow up on the document submitted to the Commission by the finance minister on November 30, 2009," Raden Pardede said after being questioned by KPK.
Pardede said KPK investigators asked him for clarification on Bank Century management, especially in relation with KSSK`s role.
But he did not go into details of the document submitted by Sri Mulyani to KPK.
He only said the questioning on Tuesday was the first phase of the investigation processe and it was to be followed by a second phase.
Earlier, Acting KPK Chief Tumpak Hatorangan Panggabean said KPK investigators needed more information from various parties to investigate the Bank Century case.
"For instance, we need more information on the Bank Century bailout," Tumpak said, adding that Raden Pardede was questioned for about three hours.(*)Editor: Ruslan Burhani
