Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Capital Market and Financial Institutions Supervisory Board (Bapepam-LK) has allowed state electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) to double the value of its bonds offered to Rp3 trillion.

Bapepam allowed PLN to do so after the bonds were oversubscribed, PLN Finance Director Setio Anggoro said in a press statement on Thursday.

PLN will use proceeds from the issuance of the bonds to finance its investment projects.

The bonds consist of conventional bonds and sharia bonds.

The conventional bonds worth Rp920 billion are issued at a coupon of 11.95 percent and Rp1.783 trillion at a coupon of 12.55 percent. The Rp920 billion bonds will mature in seven years and the Rp1.783 trillion bonds in ten years.

The sharia bonds worth Rp130 billion are issued at a yield of equivalent to 11.9 percent and Rp167 billion at a yield of equivalent to 12.55 percent. The Rp130 billion sharia bonds will mature in seven years and the Rp167 billion sharia bonds in 10 years.(*)
