Seoul (ANTARA News/Asia Pulse) - Dong-A Pharmaceutical Co. (KSE:000640), a South Korean drugmaker, is considering building a new plant in the second half of the year to increase its production capacity, industry sources said today.

The drugmaker now has three factories across the nation, and construction of its new research and development center is scheduled to be completed this year.

"Details on the new plant have yet to be decided... we may begin to break ground during the second half of this year after drawing  up plans," said a company official.
