Pasuruan, E Java (ANTARA News) - Three Pasuruan residents from one family died on the spot after a tank on a trailer suddenly got loose and fell on the motor cycle they were riding on Thursday.

The loose tank also hit a mini-truck being parked on the roadside of Bendungan road, Kraton, witnesses said.

Rudi Hariyadi, Hartono, and Ryan died on the scene with tragic condition. Witnesses said they passed the road on their way to Bangil hospital to see their ailing relative.

A witness, M. Arief, 35, said this tragic accident was caused by a trailer whose one of its tanks suddenly removed and hit the ill-fated motorists and mini-truck.

The trailer driver, Lasidi, was detained and under the Pasuruan police investigation. (*)
