Cipanas, Cianjur (ANTARA News) - Indonesia wants balanced and mutually close relations with the United States, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono`s special staff for overseas affairs, Dino Patti Djalal, said here on Tuesday.

"We want to be an equal partner with the United States not only in traditional aspects such as democracy and human rights but also in other aspects such as economy, technology, trade and health," Dino said in respond to US President Barrack Obama`s plan to visit Indonesia in March in conjunction with the signing of Indonesia-US Strategic Partnership agreement.

He added teams from Indonesia and US are still working on the detail of the agreement.

"We will invite related parties such as those from US-ASEAN Business Council, USINDO, government officials and non-governmental organizations on a meeting to brainstorm ideas and gain input for the partnership agreement`s draft," Dino said.
Dino explained during Obama`s visit to Indonesia, the 44th president of the US will also bring his two daughters.

"The upcoming visit also has a sentimental aspect for Obama since he was once lived in Indonesia during the childhood. First Lady Ani Yudhoyono who met US First Lady Michele Obama stated the US president will also bring his two daughters to Indonesia," Dino said. (A051/A038)
