Bangalore (ANTARA News/Asia Pulse) - General Motors India on Tuesday said it will expand its research and development activities in India, for which it will be hiring 150 more engineers by the end of this year.

The company, which is currently working in tandem with
its US parent General Motors (GM) for support in next generation engines, transmissions and hybrid, also said it will get into fuel cells research in India.

Earlier this month, GM
India said it will be hiring 800 people during next seven to eight months to meet additional requirements including its plan to double car output at the company's Talegaon plant.
