Jakarta (ANTARA News/Asia Pulse) - Car sales in Indonesia have leapfrogged from one record to a new high, as monthly sales peaked in February, reaching 55,620 units, or the highest over the past year after January's record of 52,831 units.

The sales in February were 60 per cent higher than in the same period last year, attributable to an improvement in the country's macro economic condition, said PT Toyota Astra Motor marketing director Joko Trianyoto.
