Beijing (ANTARA News/Asia Pulse) - Sinochem Group, one of China's leading fertilizer makers, has inked a 16-billion-yuan (US$2.3 billion) deal on Tuesday to build two nitrogenous fertilizer projects in China's northwestern Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.
The deal was signed between the company and the Ningxia regional government to set up a two million tonne/year synthetic ammonia project and a 3.2 million tonne/year urea manufacture project in the region's Ningdong Energy and Chemical Zone, a regional industrial zone.
The new projects will help Sinochem to have a total nitrogenous fertilizer production capacity of 5.4 million tonnes per year.
