Beijing (ANTARA News/Asia Pulse) - China's car sales reached 623,100 units in February, down 33.02 per cent from the previous month but up 45.88 per cent from a year earlier, according to the latest statistics released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).

The combined sales of the 10 carmakers
reached 378,100 units in February, taking up 61 per cent of the country's total car sales. In the first two months, China's car sales surged 79.31 per cent from a year earlier to 1.55 million units.

China's homegrown car sales totaled 202,200 units in
February, taking 32.45 per cent of China's total car sales.
