Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is slated to attend the first anniversary of the Indonesian Defense University (UPI) on March 17, 2010, which will be enlivened by an international seminar and attended by world experts.

The Ministry of Defense`s press release said in Jakarta Thursday during the celebration, a book on the history of the post-graduate institution will be launched.

"The anniversary celebration will be led by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono at the State Palace on March 17, to be followed by an international seminar at the Defense Ministry," the ministry said.

The seminar, will be entitled "Indonesia Towards 2025: Geopolitical and Security Challenge, focus on economy, natural resources and energy aspects".

The seminar will be addressed by former defense minister Juwono Sudarsono, Prof Tsutomu Kikuchi, and Prof Leonard Sebastian.

The UPI was established on March 11, 2009, by President Yudhoyono. (*)
