Jakarta, March (ANTARA News) - A magnitude 7 earthquake shook North Maluku province on Sunday at 7.57 am local time, but the tremor did not have a potential to trigger a tsunami.
The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) disclosed that the tremor was located 1.58 degrees south latitude and 128.20 east longitude at a depth of 56 kilometers.
The quake`s epicenter was located 132 km southeast of Labuha, North Maluku, 227 km northeast of Ambon, and 252 km northeast of Sanana, Maluku.(*)
