Index Corp. to help social network games enter Japan

The Index Holdings (TSE:4835) unit aims to generate one billion yen (US$11.1 million) in related sales a year and share the income with client firms. Abroad, games offered on social networking sites are usually played on personal computers.
But mobile phone users are the big players in Japan. So foreign firms needing to make their games handset-compatible when entering Japan will have Index to provide help.
