Police chief to summon Susno Duadji

Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Indonesian National Police Chief Bambang Hendarso Danuri will soon summon Police Chief Detective Commissioner General Susno Duadji in connection with his statement on the tax broker case allegedly involving two senior police officers.
"This morning I have instructed the relevant police authorities to invite Pak (Mr) Susno," the police chief said at the State Palace here on Wednesday after attending a seminar on defense themed "Indonesia Towards 2025".
Early this week, Susno Duadji disclosed that he has eradicated the broker case worth Rp25 billion.
The police chief said if Susno`s statement proved to be true, the case will be processed according to the law. With regard to Kusno`s statement which will be published in a book, the police chief said a book is no evidence.
"But with regard to the case itself, whether it was embezzlement, a mafia case, or misappropriattion, or a case whose perpetrators managed to escape investigation. All these must first be clear," he said.(*)Editor: Heru
