Solo, C Java (ANTARA News)- The majority of university graduates in Indonesia are jobless, Sebelas Maret State University (UNS) Rector Prof.Dr.H.Much Syamsulhadi said here Wednesday.

Speaking at the launching ceremony of the UNS` Career Development Center, Syamsulhadi said only 25 percent of two million university graduates could be absorbed by job markets.

The limited number of university graduates that the job markets could absorb was partly caused by the fact that they just had general academic knowledge but had lack soft skills, he said.

Therefore, university graduates should also be equipped with the knowledge and soft skills highly demanded by employers, he said.
