Megaworld wins contract to develop prime 34.5 ha Philippine site

Manila (ANTARA News/Asia Pulse) - The Philippine state-owned Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) has awarded Megaworld Corp. (PSE:MEG) the contract to develop a prime 34.5 hectare Jusmag property located along Lawton Avenue in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
BCDA executive vice president Aileen An.R.Zosa said Megaworld was named as the winning private sector participant of the competitive selection for BCDA's joint venture development after Megaworld offered the best proposal and completed the post-qualification as provided for in the terms of reference.
Megaworld, led by property tycoon Andrew Tan, offered P31,111 (US$680) per square meter for the 345,042 square meter Jusmag property.
