Tampak Siring, Bali (ANTARA News) - Vice President Boediono has asked all governors to form a special team to monitor the implementation of the decisions of the Tampak Siring national working conference.
"I ask the governors to form special teams in their respective regions to monitor what we have agreed on. The teams should work in consultation and through dialogs with authorities at central level," the vice president said in his directives to the participants of the national working conference here on Wednesday before President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono officially closed the meeting.
In his directives, the vice president emphasized the importance of the implementation of the meeting`s results.
On the occasion, the vice president said the implementation of the action plan made at the three-day national working conference should not take a long time.
"Everything will become clear if we focus on the implementation of the conference`s results," Boediono said, adding that after returning to their respective provinces, the governors should implement the results of the meeting.
He noted, a number of ministries already had special units to respond to and implement the presidential instruction issued at the meeting.
"The special units will monitor the implementation and make evaluations," the vice president said.
In addition, he said, at the central level there was a presidential working unit to monitor and supervise the execution of development programs (UKP4) headed by Kuntoro Mangkusubroto.
"Therefore, the evaluation network will be the connection between central-level and regional-level authorities, and the vice presidential office will also serve in that capacity," Boediono said.
