President receives credentials of five new foreign ambassadors

Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono at Merdeka Palace here Thursday received the credentials of five newly posted foreign ambassadors to Indonesia.
President Yudhoyono at the palace ceremony received the credentials of the new ambassador of Bangladesh, Golam Mohammad, and those of the new ambassador of Iraq, Ismieal Shafeeq Muhsin.
The head of state also received the credentials of the following new envoys : Georgios Veis of Greece, Mahmoud Farazanddah of Iran, and Eduardo Ruiz of Chile.
At the ceremony, the President was accompanied by among others Foreign Affairs Minister Marty Natalegawa, and Presidential special staff for foreign affairs Dino Pati Djalal.
Later, President Yudhoyono held a cabinet meeting to discuss infrastructure development and other matters relating to the national economy.
Presidential spokesman Julian Aldrin Pasha said the cabinet meeting which was held at the presidential office and began at 2 pm also discussed investment and smallholder`s business credits.
"There are three topics discussed in the cabinet meeting, namely infrastructure development, investment and smallholder`s business credits (KUR)," he said.(*)
