Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Indonesia`s men`s team won the First Asian Bridge Cup Championship in Niang Bao, China, on Sunday after collecting 378 victory points, according to a statement issued by the All-Indonesia Bridge Association`s central executive board (PB Gabsi).

In the championship held August 31- September 5, 2010, the Indonesian men`s team who consisting of Henky Lasut/Eddy Manopo, Robert Tobing/Taufik G. Asbi, Belly Rumengan/Mahkota Ananda, and non-playing captain Peter Torang Wang. The team sponsored by Alumnus of Indonesia University Indonesia Bridge Club (GABRIAL UI) won against the South Korean team with a 25 : 5 score in the last session.

The Indonesian men`s team won after outplaying the Taiwanese team which got 366 victory points and became runner-up. Meanwhile, Hong Kong emerged as the third winner with 351 victory points.

With the win, the Indonesian team also earned the Ning Bo Cup as the supreme syymbol of Asian Pacific bridge.
