Passengers stranded due to Lion Air engine trouble

Banjarbaru, S Kalimantan (ANTARA News) - Lion Air`s engine trouble caused 165 stranded passengers at Syamsudin Noor Airport, Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, on Monday.
"The had technical trouble when it was about to fly to Surabaya 7 am, and mechanics are now trying to correct the trouble," Banjarmasin district Lion Air manager, Irlan Wahyudi, said here Monday.
The 165 passengers of the McDonnell Douglas were transferred to a Boeing 737-400 after almost five yours of waiting, and they left at 11.30 am.
Irlan said the technicians had to find the cause of the engine trouble.
Irlan had to ask for an apology from the stranded passengers.
Roswini, one of the passengers expressed her disappointment over the airline`s service, telling it need to be more professional in its operations.(*)Editor: Ruslan Burhani
