Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Ambassador Scot Marciel recently hosted a group of young Indonesian diplomats selected to participate in the Fulbright-KEMLU Scholarship Program at his residence prior to their departure for the United States.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Center for Education and Training in cooperation with the American-Indonesian Exchange Foundation (AMINEF) offers the Fulbright-KEMLU Scholarships to junior diplomats to earn a Master`s degree in the U.S. in any field of study at the discretion of KEMLU, the US Embassy here said in its official website on Wednesday.

This coming year, six young diplomats have been selected to study under the program at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Georgetown University, Clark University, the University of Chicago and Denver University.

The Fulbright-KEMLU Scholarship Program represents just one of many efforts under the Comprehensive Partnership designed to strengthen bilateral collaboration on a broad range of issues in order to promote peace, stability, and economic prosperity, not only for the United States and Indonesia, but also regionally and globally.
