Nusa Dua (ANTARA News)- President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and former finance minister Sri Mulyani are scheduled to meet on the sidelines of the ASEAN Finance Ministers Meeting in Bali, Friday evening.

According to information from the Presidential Palace`s Press and Media Bureau, the head of state and Sri Mulyani would meet at Bali Intercontinental Hotel at around 9 pm local time.

Yudhoyono will be accompanied by Minister/State Secretary Sudi Silalahi and Tourism and Culture Minister Jero Wacik.

Before receiving Sri Mulyani, President Yudhoyono will meet President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Haruhiko Karuda.

Sri Mulyani is currently Managing Director of the World Bank for East Asia, Asia and the Pacific, Africa, Latin America and Caribbean.

She is currently in Bali to attend the15th ASEAN Finance Ministers Meeting which was officially kicked off by President Yudhoyono on Friday morning.

In the opening speech, President Yudhoyono expressed gratitude to the World Bank being represented by Sri Mulyani for continous support to ASEAN.

He hoped the World Bank could intensify its support to and cooperation with ASEAN.

To the participants of the one-day ASEAN Finance Ministers Meeting, he suggested that they stay longer in Bali to explore the island`s beautiful scenery.
