"We don`t set any target but we hope it will be completed as soon as possible."
Jakarta (ANTARA News) - State Enterprises Minister Mustafa Abubakar has asked oil and gas company Pertamina to report the loss it had suffered by the recent fire at its refinery in Cilacap, Central Java, including its concept for the damaged facilities` reconstruction.

"The Cilacap fire has been overcome well and Pertamina now needs to estimate the damage," Mustafa said here Monday.

According to him, his ministry fully supported the investigation which was being done by the police to know the causes of the fire.

"A forensic investigation is still in progress. We don`t set any target but we hope it will be completed as soon as possible," he said.

However, Mustafa did not give any comment whether or not the detriment from Cilacap`s refinery was similar to Plumpang depot fire two years ago.

"I don`t know about it. Let us give time for Pertamina to calculate the loss from the physic and business aspects," he said.

He also ensured the fire of Pertamina`s refinery tanks in Cilacap would not disturb fuel supply for Central Java and East Java distribution areas.

The ministry and the National Police had cooperated to strengthen asset security of the state-owned oil company, including its vital assets.

"The vital asset security of a state-owned company is done in urgent case, like refinery`s fire of Pertamina," he said.
