Head of the TKI placement and protection agency (BNP2TKI) Moh Jumhur Hidayat said after arrival in Taiwan Wednesday night, had been notified by an official of the Council of Labor Affair (CLA) at Taoyuan airport serving the TKIs.
The CLA office at Taoyuan is under The Taiwan Manpower Ministry is serving the arrival and repatriation of TKIs.
Jumhur received an explanation from two CLA officers Johan and Denny on the task of CLA especially receiving those who have just arrived at Taoyuan and provide them with directives on the situation in Taiwan with regard to culture, law, and the character of their employers and their job.
The TKIs in Taiwan are mostly house maids, nursing old people and work on ships.
But the CLA with 30 personnel is also assisting the TKIs in solving their problems especially those who are returning to Indonesia through Taoyuan.
There are 160 thousand Indonesian migrant workers in Taiwan as the majority of foreign workers abroad compared to those from Vietnam, Thailand, and even the Philippines as Indonesia`s biggest rival.
