Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Bakrie Group, through PT Bakrieland Development, is eying two infrastructure projects in East Java as part of its commitment to helping accelerate infrastructure development in the country, its president director said.

"The Bakrieland division is now seriously preparing for two infrastructure projects, namely Pasuruan-Probolinggo and Air Umbulan- Pasuruan toll roads, East Java," Bakrieland President Director Hirmansyah S Thaib said here on Sunday.

He said that for the 45.32 km Pasuruan-Probolinggo toll road, his side had completed the project minutes with related parties, and was now waiting for the signing of a work contract amendment agreement with the Toll Road Management Board (BPJIT) of the Public Works Ministry.

The Pasuruan-Probolinggo tool road was part of the nine non Trans Java toll roads and was part of the 24 toll road sections which had passed the evaluation of BPJI.

Hirmansyah expressed hope that with the toll road projects the synergy among related parties such as the district and provincial governments would be built and proceed well.(*)
