Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Police in Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, have already questioned four witnesses in connection with a robbery at the ATM of Bank Central Asia at Tania Pharmacy on Jalan Robusta Raya, Pondok Kopi, East Jakarta on Sunday.

"Four witnesses (have been questioned) namely two security guards, one technician and a driver of the car that delivered money for the ATM," Jakarta Metropolitan Police spokesman Senior Commissioner Baharudin Djafar said here on Monday.

He said until now the police had not yet named any suspect in connection with the robbery of Rp460 million worth of cash.

The mobile chief intelligence of the Directorate of Crime Intelligence of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Adjunct Senior Commissioner Herry Heryawan meanwhile said he had already suspected one of the robbers.

"We have known the person that would likely be named suspect but we are now still tracing him," he said. He declined to tell his name as he was still being traced.

A group of robbers had run away with the car that delivered cash money to the ATM at Jalan Robusta. The car was later found on Jalan Jatibening, in Pondok Gede, East Jakarta, at midnight on Sunday.

The police had also found a security guard known as Hendrik with wounds on his head that had been taken away by the robbers.(*)
